New refuse collection schedule for Atlantis, Pella, Mamre, Melkbosstrand, Duynefontein

In order to improve operational efficiency, residents of Atlantis, Pella, Mamre, Duynefontein and Melkbosstrand will have a new schedule for refuse collection from 1 July. Read more below:

'Any inconvenience to residents is sincerely regretted, however this move will allow for more reliable and efficient waste collection, both in the affected areas and other parts of the City, and will reduce the dumping that often occurs if waste collection is delayed,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Waste Management, Alderman Grant Twigg.
